B+Y's Pembina Pines Wedding

Brett and Yolanda were such a joy to work with. They're the kind of people that (based on what I saw) stay as positive as they possibly can, even when things don't turn out the way they'd wish. As we all know, weather does not always cooperate with us on our most special days. I, along with presumably every photographer would love the power to control when it rains, when it doesn't and personally, the temperature as well (I think this is the superpower I'd wish for). But alas, I can't. *Sigh*.

Anyways, it rained for the better part of Brett & Yolanda's wedding day, but though we had to run for cover a time or two, they were both so bright and enthusiastic. These two were getting married, whether it was raining cats and dogs or not. I loved it. Every second. Watching the two of them throughout their day reminded me of the most important parts of a Wedding. I'm there to capture all those moments, whether they're in the rain, 3 ft of snow, wind, or sunshine. Those beautiful moments in between, the look on the groom's face when he sees his bride for the first time, the kiss at the alter, the adoring looks, everything. These are the important parts. Every single wedding looks different, but there's beauty in every single one. Even if the weather isn't what you'd hoped.

Basically, I spent this day in complete awe of how positive this couple was.

And then, at the end of the day, we got this STUNNING sunset, it was most definitely worth the rain!

This was the most perfect couple and wedding.
