Bridges Golf Course Wedding
Christian + Shae were my first wedding of 2021, and starting my annual blogging I'm feeling rather reminiscent of this wedding. This wedding was the start of a pretty crazy year, with ups and downs, small intimate weddings and big weddings again. Though it was crazy, I enjoyed every second of it. This wedding was no different, it was small, intimate and absolutely beautiful.
These two were easy going, flexible and so, so sweet. It was a chilly day, but they braved the cold wind and the photos we got were well worth it. As Restrictions were still very tight at this time, with very small gatherings allowed for weddings, Christian + Shae had a little surprise of family waiting outside after the ceremony to offer their congratulations and as I said before, it was so, so sweet. I'm emotional at most weddings but this got me, my heart has gone out to all the wedding couples over the last 2 years, as they've had stressful planning processes, coupled with new wedding visions that they don't have much control over. Walking out to see family doing what they can to show their support for Wedding couples brings tears to my eyes. It's authentically genuine, and that's the stuff that I absolutely adore capturing.
This wedding was the perfect start to my wedding season, and though none of the 2021 weddings were what the couple envisioned when starting to plan their dream day, I'm over the moon, overjoyed that this couple asked me to capture their day anyways.
